Jennie (Kamola) Huff

Jennie (Kamola) Huff 99, resident of Canton CT, formerly of Terryville CT, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2022, with family at her bedside. She was the daughter of Alexander and Johanna (Malinowski) Kamola both of Terryville.

Jennie was the sweetest and most friendly person you could ever meet and was known to strike up conversations with anyone she encountered. Jennie enjoyed many simple pleasures and routines, but it was her faith in God, life and her loved ones that kept her going for so long. With many helping hands from family and friends, Jennie lived independently until recently.
Jennie was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Huff and long-time companion Michael Kopcha. Her children Robert Huff, David Huff and Linda Yeich predeceased her, as did her two sisters Helen Perugino and Louise Covini. Jennie is survived by her loving grandchildren Pamela and husband Mark Keough of Norwalk, CT, Robert Huff and companion Lori Bizzozero of Canton, CT, Thomas and wife Leesa Huff of Canton, CT and Jonathan and wife Melissa Yeich of South Windsor, CT. Jennie took great delight in her eight treasured great grandchildren: Chad Huff, Sophie Huff, Kendall Keough, Kerry Keough, Alexa Huff, Ashley Huff, Gavin Yeich and Brayden Yeich as well as many nieces and nephews including Sue Huff and Tom Huff, who spent much time caring for her in her recent years.

Arrangements are being handled by the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville. A small service with immediate family and friends will be Monday, March 28, 2022, at 10:00 am at Saint Casimir Church, 17 Allen St., Terryville, with burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Terryville.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut, Inc., 56 Commerce Dr., Trumbull, CT 06611. The foundation’s mission to grant life changing wishes to children with critical illnesses was near and dear to Jennie’s heart.
