Jay P. Gergler

Jay Peter Gergler, son of the late Floyd and Barbara Plude Gergler, passed away suddenly on July 20, 2023, at 69 years old.

Jay was born in Hartford, CT, grew up in Rocky Hill, CT, traveled across the US, and settled in Plymouth, CT with his family.

Jay was a loving husband, father, and brother. He was a kind man and always generous with his time. He served in the US Air Force for four years. Jay had a long-standing career in Information Technology and was most recently the IT Manager at Pediatric Healthcare Associates. He was an avid reader, an adventurous cook, and a do-it-yourself jack-of-all-trades.

Jay is survived by his spouse Linda, children Lisa, Gabrielle and husband Jake, Christopher, Nicholas, and corgi Penny. He leaves behind 5 siblings, sisters Patricia Sebastian, Kathryn and husband David Allen, Caroline and husband Ralph Kinville, Frances Meissner, brother Floyd Gergler, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by sister Erica Johnson.
