James A. Perkins

James A. Perkins, 74, of Bristol, husband of Jean (Gonya) Perkins, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Bristol Hospital. He was born in Bristol on July 1, 1948, son of the late Harold and Angeline (Whitting) Perkins.

James proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Prior to his retirement he worked as a machine operator at Pratt and Whitney of Middletown. He loved his grandkids, games and computers.

Besides his wife, James leaves behind his son John Perkins of Bristol; his daughter Laura Mangiafico of Bristol; his grandchildren, John, Jr., Tyler, Morgan, Richie, Josh, Amy, Keith, Jr., and Kyle; his brother-in-law, James Nypert of SC; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Sharon and Cynthia and brothers, Donald, Calvin and Rex.
