James F. Gibb

James F. Gibb, 76, of Burlington, loved and loving husband of Susan (Maciog) Gibb, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024, at home. He was born October 26, 1948, in Hartford, son of the late Francis and Alyce (St. Lawrence) Gibb.

Prior to his retirement, James was employed by United Technologies. He was a member of the Bell City Rifle Club. He was an expert marksman. James loved archery, collecting and classic cars.

Besides his wife, James is survived by his sisters, Marilyn Grodecki of Bristol, Janet Ghio of Bristol, Diane and Robert Zalewski of Terryville; his sister-in-law Lisa Gibb and her son John; his nieces and nephews Nicole, Billy, Rory, Drew, Alycia, Adam, Erika, Alisa, Erica, John, Jessica, Joseph and their families; many old and new friends who will miss his dry wit and sense of humor. Besides his parents, James was predeceased by his brother, John Gibb.
