Jacqueline (Churchill) Collins, 69, of Terryville, widow of Gerard Lucien Collins, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at home with her family by her side. Born on January 10, 1953, in Presque Isle, ME, daughter of the late Ernest and Evelyn (Collins) Churchill.
Jacqueline was an avid reader, she loved to crochet blankets for her family. She enjoyed baking, shopping, and loved her dogs. In her past time, she would go to Mohegan Sun to watch the women’s basketball games and the UCONN Husky Women’s basketball too. Her grandchildren were her most precious gems. She was such a kind and beautiful soul; her home was always open to anyone that needed help or just a place to stay.
Jacqueline is survived by her daughters, Catherine Soucy and her husband Michael of Terryville, and Patricia Collins and her husband Gary Wyszynski of Terryville; her bothers, Steven Churchill and his wife Dawn of Port Charlotte, FL, and James Churchill of Bristol; her beloved grandchildren, Megan, Matthew, and Collin Soucy; her niece Lynda Collins of North Port, FL, whom she treated like a daughter to her; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Jacqueline was predeceased by her brother Ernest Churchill, III.
Calling hours for Jacqueline will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, CT, from 12 to 2 PM. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
