Irene (Wolinski) Chelchowski

Irene M. (Wolinski) Chelchowski, 98, of Bristol, wife of the late Thaddeus Ted Terry Chelchowski, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the Pines of Bristol. She was born February 7, 1927, in St. Malo, France, daughter of the late Paul and Louise (Lubinski) Wolinski.

Prior to her retirement, Irene was employed by Superior Electric of Bristol. She was a parishioner of St. Casimir Church, Terryville and a former member of the Ladies Guild. Irene loved gardening, loved her grandchildren and cooking traditional Polish foods.

Irene is survived by her daughters, Vivian Adams and her husband Edward of Bethany and Jean Delpha and her husband Gary of Terryville; four grandchildren, Jason Adams, Jennifer Adams, Seth Delpha and Robert Delpha; and four great-grandchildren, Logan, Rainier, Sydney and Trinity. Besides her parents and her husband, Irene was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Helene and John Fray.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 25, 2025, 11 AM from the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville to St. Casimir Church, 17 Allen St, Terryville. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Terryville. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
