Herbert A. Bush, Jr.

Herbert A. Bush Jr, 93, of Terryville, husband of the late Carol (Iammatteo) Bush, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Bristol Hospital. He was born November 11, 1931, in New Britain, son of the late Herbert A. Sr, and Lucille (Zack) Bush.

Herbert proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Barnes Group in Bristol. Herbert was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church, Terryville and a member of the Bristol Elks Club.

Herbert leaves behind his son Charles A. Bush of Middletown and his girlfriend, Melinda Wight; his daughter Julie Pearson and her husband Sam of Knoxville, TN; and his beloved grandchildren, Casey Bush, Nicholas Pearson and Mia Pearson-Loomis.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 11, 9:30 AM from the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville, to the Immaculate Conception Church, Terryville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Burial with military honors will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm.
