Henry "Hank" Warkoski

Henry “Hank” T. Warkoski, 93, of Avon, former Terryville resident, husband of Diana (Byrne) Warkoski, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, at Avon Health Center. He was born on March 20, 1929, in Terryville, son of the late Stephen and Stephie (Ozerhauski) Warkoski.

Hank proudly served in the US Army. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at Superior Electric of Bristol. He was a member of St. Casimir Church in Terryville, the Knights of Columbus, and the Camera Club. He played the accordion for Hank Warkoski and the Happy Tones and The Senior Sounds. Hank also loved photography.

Besides his wife of 65 years, he leaves behind his sons, Robert Warkoski and his wife Rebecca of Bristol and James Warkoski of Terryville; his grandchildren, Nicole, Justin, Sarah, Stephen and Andrew; and several nieces.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Casimir Church, on Friday, July 22 at 11:00 AM. Burial with military honors at St. Joseph Cemetery to follow. Friends and family may call at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, from 10 to 11 AM. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
