Helen (Gallagher) Mackiewicz

Helen (Gallagher) Mackiewicz, 96, of Terryville, widow of Chester Mackiewicz passed away Thursday December 30, 2021 at Ingraham Manor, Bristol.      

Helen was born August 8, 1925 in Bristol, CT, daughter of the late George & Anastasia Gallagher.  Prior to her retirement she was employed by O.Z. Gedney Co. of Terryville.  She was a parishioner of St. Casimir Church, Terryville, and member of the Women’s Club and Rosary Society of the church.  She was also a member of the Terryville-Plymouth Senior Citizens and a volunteer for the Terryville Lock Museum.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Paula Mackiewicz of Bristol, her daughter and son-in-law, Elaine & Wayne Titus of Terryville, many grand & great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday January 6th 9:30 am from the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville, to St. Casimir Church, Terryville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.  Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm.  www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
