It is with profound sadness that we share Gerard Steven Damiano, 67, of Watertown, husband of Susan (Stowe) Damiano, has passed away after a brief illness, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Middlesex Hospital. He was born September 19, 1957, in Waterbury, to Isadore and Helen (Sklanka) Damiano.
Gerard was employed by Cly-Del Manufacturing in Waterbury, for 44 years, until his retirement. He was always the life of the party, socializing, singing karaoke and making people laugh. He loved Watertown Football. He coached little league baseball and football in Thomaston. He enjoyed listening to AC/DC, Ozzy Osborne and Black Sabbath. He was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan, and he loved being a Poppop to his grandchildren, Riley, Logan and Hailey, David and Evan.
Besides his beloved wife Susan, of 44 years, Gerard leaves behind his sons, Christopher and his wife Cassy of SC, Joseph and his girlfriend Melanie of Las Vegas, and Nicholas and his fiance Jessica of Thomaston; his brother George and his wife Diane of Woodbury; his nephews, Jimmy, Steven and Jeff; a niece, Lisa, many extended family members and several great friends.
