Gerald F. Brainard

Gerald F. Brainard, 62, of Terryville, husband of the late Wendy Sue (Titus) Brainard passed away Tuesday October 12, 2021 at Bristol Hospital.

Gerald was born March 7, 1959 in Scranton, PA, son of the late Willard and Joyce (Peck) Brainard. He was a U.S. Army veteran.  Prior to his retirement he was employed by the Plymouth Board of Education.  He was a member of the Terryville Polish American Political Club and he loved his cat Bear Bear.

He is survived by his brother, James Brainard and his wife Donna of Bristol; his sister, Bonnie Brainard Letitia and her husband Marty of Plymouth, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was pre-deceased by his sisters, Debbie Brainard, Dotty Brainard, and Tammy Pickering and his brother, Jack Brainard.

Relatives and friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville on Saturday November 6, 2021 from 12 – 2pm.  Burial will be in State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
