George T. Miller, 79 of Plymouth, CT, passed away on July 7, 2025, at home after an over 2-year battle with cancer.
Born in Plantsville, CT, son of the late Alfred and Lillian Miller of Southington, CT. He is survived by his loving wife, Dale Miller of Plymouth, CT; his sons George “Thom” Miller Jr. and his wife Gift Miller of Littleton, CO, and his son Geoff Miller of Arvada, CO; his stepdaughter Heather Dale Titus and her husband Brian Willard of Manchester, CT; his two beloved granddaughters, Winter and Riley, both of Colorado; his brother Alfred Miller and his wife Rena of Lake City, FL and several nieces and nephews.
George served his country as a Sergeant in the 4th Infantry Division in Vietnam, earning a Purple Heart and other medals. He was a graduate of Central CT State University and retired as a Supervising Air Pollution Engineer from the State DEEP. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Family and friends may visit on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St. Terryville, CT, from 6-8 PM. A graveside service with military honors will be Monday, July 14, 2025, at 10 AM at the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Ln, Middletown.
George was very active in the Brewery Collectibles Club of America (BCCA), an international club that is dedicated to preserving brewing history, heritage and art through collecting brewery artifacts. Tax-deductible donations may be made in his honor to the BCCA, 747 Merus Ct, Fenton, MO 63026
