Francisca Pinto

Francisca Pinto, 84, of Terryville passed away Friday December 3, 2021 at Bristol Hospital.

Francisca was born August 21, 1937 in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Abelardo Pinto Abreu and Josphine Solis Arroyo.  Prior to her retirement she was employed by Specialty Packaging of Waterbury for 20 plus years.  Francisca was a very loving mother, grandmother and aunt that gave her all to her family.  Her favorite hobbies were gardening, cooking and watching TV.  Her joys were her seeing children.  Growing up she had various jobs as farming, she ran her own food truck and watching her grandkids. 

She is survived by her son, Milton J. Carrion and his wife Naomi of Terryville; her daughters Mayra Carrion of Waterbury, and Maria D. Carrion Pinto of Terryville; her siblings, Magdelana, Victor, Julia, Elvira and Roman, her bonus kids, Jennifer Bruno, Antonio Olivero, Cristian Shappy and Alessandro Solla; her grandchildren, Michelle Murphy, Elizabeth Munoz (Jose), Jennifer Carrion Bruno, Milton (Jimmy) Carrion, Steven Carrion (Gianna), Albert Ramalho Jr. Adleen Carrion-Santos (Fiance′ Aaron Wilder), Cristian Shappy, Alessandro Solla and Victoria Maia (Jay); her great grandchildren, Tevin, Anthony and Alyssa Murphy, Brianna Munoz, Lyric Ramalho, Brenden Carrion, Olyvia and Josiah Machado, Antonio Olivero, Adrian Morales-Carrion, Angelo Dion Carrion and Kyrie Maia, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Eugenio Carrion Jr, her daughter, Maribel Carrion and her siblings, Antonio, Angelo, Saturnino, Josephine and Lydia.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 10AM from the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville to St. Joseph Church, Bristol for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00.  Entombment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum, Bristol.  Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 – 8 PM.    www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
