Frances (Stewart) Miller

Frances (Stewart) Miller, 94, of Plymouth, widow of Reuben P. Miller Jr, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025, at Cook-Willow Healthcare Center in Plymouth. She was born August 25, 1930, in Waterbury, CT, daughter of the late Kenneth and Mabel (Hart) Stewart.

Frances grew up in Plymouth. She and Reuben married in 1950 and spent 59 loving years with him until his passing in 2009. She loved being a mother and a grandmother and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and watching the birds.

Frances is survived by her sons, Robert Miller and his wife Anita of New Boston, MO, Reuben Miller and his wife Dolores of Kent and James Miller of Plymouth and his fiancée, Cynthia Sciarra; her 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, Frances was predeceased by her son, Henry Miller.

Services for Frances are private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in West Cemetery, Plymouth. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, is assisting with the arrangements. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
