Frances (Rouillard) Griswold

Frances (Rouillard) Griswold, 93, of Terryville, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023, at Bristol Hospital. She was born July 23, 1930, in Claremont, NH, daughter of the late Rosario and Adele (Lambert) Rouillard.

Prior to her retirement, Frances was employed by SNET. She was a parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church in Terryville. She loved to write stories, go fishing, go to tag sales with her sisters, and listen to classical and country music, especially Jim Reeves. Frances adored her grand, great grand, and great-great grandchildren.

Frances is survived by her sons, Robert D. Griswold and his wife Barbara, of Parish, NY and James E. Griswold, Sr. and his wife Diana of Plymouth; her daughter Diane M. Rivera of Fulton, NY; her grandchildren, Pamela, Christina, Bobby, James, Jr., and Daniel; her great grandchildren, Angeline, Danielle, Dennis, Cecelia, Gianna, Lilah James, Ariana, Sara, Briar Rose, and Jagger; and her great-great grandchildren, Zayden, Waylon, and Sofia, and several nieces and nephews. Frances was predeceased by a granddaughter, Mandy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 27, 11 AM, at the Immaculate Conception Church, 170 Main St, Terryville. Scott Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
