Eileen H. (Markwica) Alexander

Eileen Helen (Markwica) Alexander, 77, formerly of Plymouth passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025.  Devoted wife of the late John H. Alexander and daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Kozikowski) Markwica. 

Eileen is survived by her stepdaughter and her husband, Ann & Robert Hennessy of Denver, CO; her stepson, Adam Alexander of Plymouth, her sister and her husband, Denise and David Maslak of Terryville, several nieces and nephews and her step-grandchildren, Seth, Conner, Auron, Brandi, John, and Adam Jr.  She is predeceased by her brothers, Joseph (JoJo) Markwica and Edward (Edju) Markwica.

Eileen worked and retired from Ray Machine, Inc.  She loved to knit, crochet, read, and watch the UCONN girls play basketball.  She also enjoyed camping with family and friends and spending time with her step-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Terryville.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of donor’s choice in memory of Eileen.
