Edward A. White, Sr.

Edward A. White, Sr., 71, of Terryville, husband of Sarah (Bates) White, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023, at home. He was born June 20, 1952, in Waterbury, son of the late Frank and Margaret (Fraser) White.

Edward proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement, he worked for the Waterbury Public School System.  He was a former member of the Plymouth Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Boy Scouts of America.

Besides his beloved wife, Edward is survived by his son Edward White Jr. and his wife Melanie of Thomaston; his daughter Jessica Vinhateiro and her husband Michael of Middlebury; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Michael, Raegan and Tyler.

Services for Edward will be private.  Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, is assisting with the arrangements.
