Edith (Howell) Spielman

Edith (Howell) Spielman, 95, former Terryville resident, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Autumn Lake Health Care in Waterbury. She was born on December 8, 1926, in Bristol, daughter of the late James and Eleanor (Layton) Howell.

Edith was a member of the Plymouth Congregation of Jehovah Witness. She was the former Executive Director of the Plymouth Housing Authority for 14 years.

Edith is survived by her sons, Mark Spielman of Sandwich, MA and David Spielman of Thomaston, CT; her daughters, Louise Russell of Thomaston, CT, Marlene Spielman of Woodbury, CT, and Helena Espinosa of Houston, TX; her nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 10 AM, Wednesday, May 11 at West Cemetery in Plymouth, CT. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St. Terryville, is assisting with arrangements.  www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
