Obituary
Dorothy (Lampron) Nicholls, 101, of Killingworth, widow of Douglas Nicholls, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023, at home. She was born December 25, 1921, in Watertown, daughter of the late Louis and Ellen Agnes (Daley) Lampron.
Dorothy was employed by Seth Thomas in Thomaston, and continued to work until she was 90, driving buses for M&J Bus Co. in Clinton. Dorothy wanted to instill in her children a good education, hard work and honesty. She loved her grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Thomas Nicholls and his wife Carolyn of VA, and Raymond Nicholls and his wife Judith of WI; her daughter Denise Klein and her husband Lawrence of Killingworth; her brother George Lampron and his wife Barbara of VA; her 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her brother Robert Lampron, her sister Bunny Kamens and her great-granddaughter Juliana.
A Funeral Service will be held 11AM, Friday, September 8, at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville. Burial in West Cemetery Plymouth. Family and friends may visit at the Scott Funeral Home, Thursday, September 7, from 6-8 PM. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
