Diane Audrey (Neale) Burton, 76, of Plymouth, widow of the late Anthony Burton, and the late Bertrand Pinette, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023, at Cook Willow Health Center in Plymouth. She was born July 25, 1947, in Waterbury.

Diane enjoyed teaching others and created her own crochet corner at the nursing home. She loved playing cribbage with her grandson, Johnny. She was always the life of the party, loved old country music, and loved her entire family. She was great at telling stories and jokes.

Diane is survived by her daughters, Michele Pinette-Pierce of DeRidder, LA, Diana Pinette of Terryville, and Brenda Canales of New Hampshire; her brother Charles Latimer of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Amanda, Johnny, Altair, Ryan, Misty, Nichole, Vincent, and Alicia; and several great grandchildren. Diane was predeceased by her daughter Barbara Barker, her grandson Max Canales, Jr., and her great granddaughter Kayla Pinette.

Services will be private. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, is assisting with the arrangements.
