Dewey A. Aliff

Dewey A. Aliff, 73, of Bristol, husband of Jane (Clark) Aliff, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024, at home. He was born, July 8, 1951, in Lizemores, WV, son of the late Earl and Martha (Harmon) Aliff.

Prior to his retirement, Dewey was employed by Theis in Bristol. He loved to play guitar and bluegrass music. He also loved the NY Yankees and watching movies.

Besides his wife, Dewey is survived by his sons, Donald Aliff of New Britain and Kyle Aliff of Bristol; his brother Willis Aliff of NY; his sister Linda Elsden of VA and several nieces and nephews. Dewey was predeceased by his parents and his siblings, John Earl Aliff, Hobart Aliff, Lundia "Mike" Aliff, and Alma Perdue.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 17, 11AM at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville. Burial will be in Peacedale Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
