David Zukauskas

David J. Zukauskas, 69, of Terryville, CT passed away on June 12, 2024, after a valiant battle with cancer and a brief illness.  He was the son of Edward and Alice Zukauskas, and was born on May 23, 1955, in Waterbury.  Shortly after his birth, the family moved to Wolcott where he grew up.  He graduated from Wolcott High School in 1973.  He was employed by Connecticut Light and Power (CL&P) Company for over thirty years and he also worked part-time as a real estate agent where he met his future bride, Gaye.  After his retirement from CL&P, he established his own energy management consultant firm for a number of years.  He was pre-deceased by his wife of 15 years, Gaye (Stasonis) in 2013.  He adored his nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren, and had many close life-long friends.  He is survived by a brother Bruce (Jolene) Zukauskas, a step-son Gary Stasonis, a step-daughter Stacy (Ritchie) Carmichael, one grandson, two granddaughters, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
