David A. Damon

David A. Damon, 83, of Bristol, former Terryville resident, husband of the late Diana (Roberge) Damon and the late Elise (Rousseau) Damon, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023, at home. He was born July 26, 1939, in Montpelier, VT, son of the late Alden and Jeannette (Hemond) Damon.

David was employed for many years with the Plymouth Police Department and retired as the Chief of Police.

David is survived by his son Dennis A. Damon and his wife Pamela of Bristol; his sister Donna Lee Carlson and her husband Bertil of Bristol; his grandchildren, Justin, Crystal, William, and Teresa, and several great grandchildren. Besides his wives, David was predeceased by his son David L. Damon.

Family and friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, on Sunday, February 19, 2023, from 5-7 PM, with a service at 7. Private burial will be at Peacedale Cemetery. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
