Daniel D. Harus

Daniel D. Harus, 88, of Bristol, beloved husband of Luceita (Salvatore) Harus, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022. He was born July 23, 1933, son of the late Daniel L. and Tillie (Sadowska) Harus.

Danny worked at Maple End Hardware for close to 50 years and later for Bristol Auto Parts. He was a “Jack-of-all-trades”, who could fix almost anything. He was a man of few words but always got his point across.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his stepsons, Sean McLaughlin and his wife Kelli and Joe McLaughlin; his stepdaughter Kelly McLaughlin and her husband Doug Martin; his grandchildren, Heather, Racheal, Kamryn, Paige, Zoe, Ian, and Sam; his great granddaughter Amelia; his brothers-in-law, Joseph Salvatore and his wife Irene, James Salvatore and his wife Evelyn, and Robert Salvatore and his wife Rosario; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Michael Danielovich.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 16, 10 AM at St. Gregory Church, 235 Maltby St, Bristol, followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, is assisting with the arrangements. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
