Claire Marie (Chamberland) Trapp

Claire Marie (Chamberland) Trapp, 72, of Terryville, wife of Walter Trapp Jr., passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025, at home. She was born December 13, 1952, in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada.

Prior to her retirement, Claire was employed by Accurate Forge. She was one of the kindest and most caring individuals one could meet. She was always helping others and she adored her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; always bringing them treats or gifts. Claire was beautiful inside and out.

Besides her husband, who was her best friend and love of her life of over 38 years, Walter, she leaves behind her sister Lynn Godin and her husband Dan of Bristol; her brother Guy Chamberland and his wife Pauline of Wolcott; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and extended family and friends. Claire was predeceased by her parents, and her siblings, Luke Chamberland, Anne Voisine and Lise Czako.

Funeral services for Claire will be private and at the convenience of the family. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville is assisting with the arrangements.
