Cindy Lee (Norton) Albert

Cindy Lee (Norton) Albert, 67, of Winsted, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport. She was born September 14, 1958, in Waterbury, CT, daughter of the late Leslie and Dorothy (Foote) Norton. 

Prior to her retirement, Cindy was employed by Brightview of Avon for over 20 years. She loved nature and animals of all kinds. She loved to sew and crochet, making many blankets over the years. Cindy was seen as a Mom to so many, she was like a tree, branching out, sheltering and helping anyone who needed it. She will be deeply missed. 

Cindy is survived by her son, William Albert of Winsted; her very close friends, Alan Langevin and Brian Cardillo Jr.; her beloved calico cat, Molly, and so many dear friends. 

A celebration of life for Cindy will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 11AM to 2PM, at the Burr Pond State Park, 385 Burr Mountain Rd, Torrington, CT. This celebration will be Pot-Luck style, and BYOB (Please note, no alcohol is allowed at the park.)
