Bernice (Plourde) Corriveau

Bernice (Plourde) Corriveau, 94, of Terryville, wife of the late Roland R. Corriveau, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at home. She was born October 17, 1931, in Fort Kent, Maine, one of 14 children born to the late Levite Sr. and Isabelle (Ouellette) Plourde.

Bernice was a parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church, and did volunteer work with the Plymouth Community Food Pantry. She proudly lived independently for her 94 years. Bernice was a stay-at-home mom and loved every minute of it. She truly enjoyed raising her children and being able to babysit her grandchildren and then great grandchildren; always making sure to be on the sidelines cheering on at any game or event. She was an avid walker too. Family was very important to Bernice; she has so many cherished family members and friends.

Bernice is survived by her son Randy Corriveau and his wife Karen of Plymouth; her daughters Nancy Perkins and her husband Peter of RI, and Dale Gardiner and her husband Ken of Terryville; her siblings, Levite Jr. “June” Plourde, Rella Dubois, Beth Collins and her sister Pat Hickey who really kept the family together; her special sister-in-law Laura Mae Corriveau; her 8 grandchildren and their spouses, Kenneth (Jennifer), Katie (Victor), Matthew (Katie), Alicia (Dino), Marcy (Brian), Kylie, Devin and Summer; her 11 great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Samson, Luca, Giada, Lyla, Lacie, Jordyn, Liliana, Eli, Aiden and Myer, and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Besides her husband and her parents, Bernice was predeceased by her siblings, Patrick, Julian, Philip, Claude, Armand, Julia, Bernadette, Theresa and Ann Marie.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 15, 2026, from the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville to Immaculate Conception Church, 170 Main St, Terryville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home Monday morning from 10 AM until leaving for church.
