Bernadine Cecelia (Tutak) Mackiewicz, 95, of Bristol, former Terryville resident, widow of Edward Benjamin Mackiewicz passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

Prior to her retirement she was co-owner and operator along with her husband Edward of the former Terry House Restaurant, Terryville for over 48 years. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church, Bristol. Her greatest joys were her times spent with Mary Beth and Dave, at countless dinners, bingo and card games, filled with so much love and laughter. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Beth Mackiewicz and her fiancé David Whitehead; her nieces, Nora Ross Baba and her husband Doug, Barbara Morytko and her husband Peter and their daughter Erin, Karen Gillespie-Saccu and her husband Peter, and Marsha Roberts; her godson, Steven Woods. She was pre-deceased by her sisters, Eleanor Ross, Amelia Andrews and Dorothy Pierro.
