Beatrice Orr

Beatrice Viola Orr, 94, of Plymouth, passed onto her heavenly home on Sunday, September 4, 2022, in Waterbury Hospital. Born in Waterbury on March 25, 1928, daughter of the late Alonzo and Viola (Holcomb) Orr. Bea and her brother Lawrence were raised by their grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Edwin Holcomb, in Thomaston, CT.

Beatrice held various secretarial and school librarian jobs. She was a faithful member of the Bible Church of Waterville, CT, for many years.

Beatrice leaves a brother Rodney Orr and his wife Carol of Terryville; her sisters, Janet Richardson of Lake Worth, FL, and Diane Keene and her husband Dale of Palm Coast, FL; a beloved sister-in-law Virginia Orr of Middlebury; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bea was predeceased by her brothers, Lawrence Orr and Norman Richardson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 16, 11 AM at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main Street, Terryville. Burial will be in New Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meridian Rd, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.  www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
