Beatrice M ((Houle)) Johnson

Beatrice M. “Bea” Johnson, 86, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, at Bristol Hospital after a brief illness.  She was the devoted wife of the late Arthur Johnson.

She was born on January 26, 1940, in Bristol, CT, daughter of the late Albert and Exilda (Lamoureux) Houle.

She is survived by her two sons, Philip (Rachel) of Plymouth, Raymond (Karen) of Woodbury; and a stepdaughter, Lynn Norton (Steve) of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Amy, Kayla (Jason), Adam, Kyle (Roxanne), Jacob (Ryan), Cole, Ashley, Courtney; Cheyenne, and her step-grandchildren, Patrick (Denise), Rachel (Jared), Matthew, and Nicholas; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Arthur, Bea was predeceased by her sons, Dennis and Jeffery; a stepson, David; and her siblings, Lucy Michaud, Laurette Brault, Leo Houle, Axel Houle, Roland Houle, Armand Houle, and Roger Houle.

Bea was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to travel with her late husband, especially to York, Maine. She enjoyed playing cards with her brothers, sisters, and nephew, John. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed watching cooking shows. She will be truly missed.
