Arthur William Droheim

Arthur William (Bill) Droheim III, 83, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.  He was the son of the late Arthur William Droheim II & Ann (Shurman) Droheim and sibling to his previously departed sister, Judith Ann Droheim of Bristol, Connecticut.  He is survived by his life partner, Claudette Marie Larrivee; his son, Jamieson William Droheim; his daughters, Judith Lynn Verbickas and Alison Ann Droheim; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  He was the Director of Technical Services at American Electro Products Inc. for over five decades and created lifelong friendships there.  He was an avid sportsman, fisherman and hunter, and spent much of his free time enjoying his property in Goshen.  He had a heart of gold and generously gave to many charities for many years.  He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  The memorial service will be held on March 15th at 12:30PM at Scott Funeral Home at 169 Main Street in Terryville.  Following the service, all are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life at the American Legion located at 11 Elm Street in Thomaston.  For those who were blessed enough to know him, Bill's humility and compassion was truly legendary.
