Obituary
Armand L. LaPointe, 98, of North Port, FL, former Terryville resident, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023, Tidewell Hospice - Lakewood Ranch Hospice House, in Bradenton, FL. He was born on April 18, 1924, in Lewiston, ME, son of the late Mathias and Georgianna (Grenier) LaPointe.
Armand proudly served his country in the US Navy during World War II. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Amcan in Farmington.
Armand is survived by his sister Yolande Hoffman of Terryville, and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service at St. Mary Cemetery, Terryville, with military honors, will be held in the spring. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, is assisting with the arrangements.
