Arlene (Mason) Mackiewicz

Arlene (Mason) Mackiewicz, 93, widow of John Mackiewicz, passed away December 27, 2023, at home with her family by her side. She was born July 24, 1930, daughter of the late William and Marion (Witham) Mason.

Arlene is survived by her sons, Scott Mackiewicz and his wife Bettye Jo, and John Mackiewicz Jr.; her daughters, Tracy Kenneson, Heidi Lipeika and her husband Peter Jr.; her daughter-in-law Patricia Mackiewicz; her special niece Dawn Falso; her brother Brian Mason; her 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Besides her husband, Arlene was predeceased by her son Timothy, her granddaughter Kerri, her siblings, Arnold, Wesley, Richard, Howard, Jean and Bonnie.

Arlene was loving, kind and known to everyone as “Grandma” who always had a tin of her oatmeal raisin cookies ready to enjoy with a game of cribbage or scrabble. She loved spending time with her family. Arlene loved everything nature, taking walks through the woods, feeding her birds, tending to her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of a bowling league. She was full of life and adventure and will be missed by everyone.
