Anita Dubnanski, 94, of Terryville, died peacefully at The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain on December 7th, after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of the late Horace Dubnanski who died in 1984 and was predeceased by a son Mark, who died in 1979. Born on January 20, 1931, in Unionville, CT she was the 13th of 14 children born to the late Rena (Haller) and Leo Peltier. She married Horace and moved to the Dubnanski family home in Terryville in 1956 where she lived for the past 69 years and became a devoted member of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church. She is survived by a son David and his wife Rene of Pleasant Valley CT, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and son, she was predeceased by ten brothers, Donald, Leo Jr., Eugene, Richard, William, Elliot, Leo, Paul, Raymond, and Alfred, and three sisters, Leona Ransom, Mary Schlapak, and Dorothy Thibodeau.
The family would like to thank The Plymouth Volunteer Ambulance Corps, the Plymouth Police Department, Bristol Hospital, Cook Willow Health & Rehab, and The Hospital of Central Connecticut for their support and kindness.
