Leonard Michaud, 89, of Torrington, former Plymouth resident, husband of Yvette (Caron) Michaud passed away Tuesday January 26, 2021 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington.  Leonard was born February 27, 1931 in Eagle Lake, Maine, son of the late Albert & Edna (Saucier) Michaud.  He served in the U.S. Army. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Rowley Spring, Bristol.  He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Parish, St. Ann Church, Bristol.  He loved outdoors, hunting, gardening, family and his dog, Charlie.  In addition to his wife his survived by his son, Alan Michaud, and his wife Anna of Torrington; his daughters, Patricia Quandt of Georgia, Bernice Meyer and her husband Brian of Torrington; his brothers, Leonel of Bristol, Claude of Terryville, Lewis of Maine, Paul of Maine, Liguori of FL, Ronald of Maine; his sisters, Lila Fournier, Florence Simard and Orese Dube all of Maine; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  He was predeceased by his sons, Gerald, Kenneth, Nelson, Elmer and Oneil, his brother, Herman Michaud, his granddaughter, Angela Quandt and son-in-law, David Quandt.  Funeral services will be held 11:30AM on Friday January 29, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville.  Burial with military honors will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.  A walk-through visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 6-8PM.  www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
