Gail (Crapser) Bishop, 67, of Bristol passed away Monday November 7, 2016 at The Pines at Bristol.

Gail was born December 21, 1948 in Southington, CT, daughter of the late Ernest & Rachel (Olsen) Crapser.  Prior to her retirement she worked for The Biz Hair Salon of Bristol and was a hairdresser for 35 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Bishop Caperton of Terryville and Kara Bishop of Prospect and her children Camron and Maddison Rivera; her brother and sister-in-law, Bobby Crapser a lifelong Seabee in the Navy and Tammy Beland-Crapser of Bristol and niece Nicole Crapser and nephew Josh Crapser; her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Randy Lindquist of Wolcott and nieces Kelly Humel and Jenny Spino; her ex-husband, Earl “pokey” Bishop who helped her raise her siblings and all of her in-laws that stood by her all these years, Arlene Bishop, Carol Kohl, Alice Langer, and too many more to name.

Relatives and friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville on Saturday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00PM.

You will never know how much you meant to me. You are a beautiful, loving woman, who considered me a part of your family. Not a day will go by that I will not think of you, and your contagious laughter and fun-loving personality.. May you rest peacefully Nana. I know that you are looking over Kara, Kim, Maddy, Cam, Barbara and Uncle Bobby..

I will never forget you. When I was going with Bethie Bartucca you and Pokey became a major player in my life. I will never forget you. I remember the countless card games we played with you and Pokey.You were a great neighbor of one of the greatest girl I have ever met. You always had a great attitude even when things were not going your way.I still see Bobby at times and will never forget your family. Gail R.I.P. you are a friend that I will never forget.
