James P. Brellis, 59, of Terryville, died Tuesday December 1, 2015 at home.

Jim was born May 27, 1956 in Waterbury, CT.  He was the son of Valeria (Kacinski) Brellis of Bristol and the late Edward Brellis.  He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.  Jim loved fishing, the Giants and the Yankees.

Besides his mother he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Erica and James Battisti of Plainville; his brother, Joseph Brellis of Bantam; his sisters, Arlene Kosak of Goshen, Ann Armitage of Bristol, Stella Bentivengo of Bristol; his two grandchildren, Kai and Charlee Battisti.  Jim was predeceased by a sister, Betty Brellis.

Funeral services will be held  on Saturday 10:00AM at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery, Thomaston.  Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM.   www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com

Jim was a great childhood friend, it was always a great time to hang out with him and Jim Dolphin. Jim had a smile for everyone, and he will be missed by many. God Bless him and may he Rest in Peace.

My deepest sympathy to the Brellis family. Jimmy was a happy and friendly kid, and always a good sport for the teasing and horsing around Joe and I did with him and his sisters. Sorry that I lost touch with the family after school. Your friend, "Moldy"
