Arthur "Jack" Bright Jr., 84, of Todd Hollow Rd., Plymouth, husband of Celia (Gaines) Bright died peacefully in his sleep Friday at his home.Jack was born Dec. 24, 1922 in Elizabeth, NJ.He was the son of the late Arthur and Carrie (Seymour) Johnson Bright and has been a resident of Plymouth all of his life. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII serving with the Seabees in the 111th Construction Battalion.Jack was employed as a construction supervisor for D'Amato Construction of Bristol.He was a member of the Terryville Congregational Church, member of the VFW, Thomaston and was an avid fisherman and gardener.Besides his wife he leaves:4 Sons - Arthur J. Bright III of Greenfield, CA Richard C. Bright of Southington Kevin W. Bright of Statesville, NC Kerry L. I am so sorry for your loss .Uncle Jack as I have known him growing up all the years on Todd Hollow Rd He was an icon with my dad Nick, Mr Telke, Mr Severson,Mr Poruznick It's a year ago my dad passed and as we walked out the hospital that morning Uncle Jack was in the ER waiting room he was the first face our family saw and we told about dad his friend from Todd Hollow god bless you all ..love Robin
