Harry Bilycia, 88, of Terryville, husband of the late Stephanie (Superata) Bilycia died Thursday at Bristol Hospital.Harry was born Nov. 30, 1919 in Terryville. He was the son of the late Metro and Catherine (Czyczyla) Bilycia and was a lifelong resident of Terryville. Prior to his retirement he was part owner of Mark V Tool Co. of Bristol. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Harry was a communicant of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, Terryville, a member of Leo 13TH Knights of Columbus, American Legion Plymouth Post #20, Holy Name Society, Ukrainian Club, Nocturnal Adoration Society, Town of Plymouth Board of Appeals and was a volunteer for the Red Cross Blood Mobile. For those who knew Harry, he was a man of few words, Harry loved his family and church, he was a gentle, kind soul who loved to travel, play cribbage, and enjoy life to its fullest. He rarely complained. A special thanks to Raya, who cared for him and his cribbage friends Joe and Ed; and also a special thank you to all his health care providers for their love and support. He leaves: 3 Daughters- Mariann Arlauskas and her husband John of Farmington, Demetria Hearn and her husband Walter of Kennebunk, ME, Patty Ososki and her husband John of Goshen; 7 Grandchildren- Barbara Arlauskas and her husband Jim, Gregory, Emily and Stephanie Hearn, Michael and Alyssa Ososki and Michael Ganem; Several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, 9:30A.M., from the Scott Funeral Home 169 Main St. Terryville to St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, Terryville for a Liturgy at 10:00A.M. Burial with military honors will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Terryville. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4-7P.M. Memorial donations may be made to St. Michael Church Building Fund, 35 Allen St., Terryville or the Plymouth Visiting Nurse Assoc., 244 Main St., Terryville, CT 06786
