Sending our deepest condolences to you all. We had only met Jim a few times over the years, but you could see the tremendous love he had for his family and his family for him. We could feel the love he had for his brothers. And he loved to talk with anyone that gave him even a few minutes. He was a great and gentle giant. Hold your memories close till you meet him again. May he rest eternal 🙏❤️

Jim was a true hero of mine. Having so much about which to legitimately complain, in 15 years I never heard him complain once. His life was defined by his courage in the face of fear. His heart was truly a heart of gold. I miss his friendship terribly and always will. His humility was so strong that he probably didn’t realize how many hearts he broke, or how terribly he broke them when he left. I believe Jim is in Paradise, and I am so happy about that, but that doesn’t stop the pain. “Yo Jimmy, my true brother, miss you dearly and hope to God we get to laugh again. Thank you for blessing my life, With love, Hutcoe.”

This makes me so terribly sad. Jim was loved b so many and I will remember him dearly. I remember when I first came into AA, Jim was one of the first people I met. We made breakfast together often, and for years, on Sunday mornings. He spoke his mind and was proud to be sober. He was a good man with a good soul and heart. I always looked forward to seeing him and he put a smile on my face. May your soul and spirit Shine On, Jim. Peace.
