Peter, Pete, Paul and Julie,

Words can not express my sorrow over Cheryl's passing. As I have mentioned she lived across the street from me and she loved to tell people that she was my babysitter and that she knew me from day one. The world is a less bright and happy place without her in it.

I miss you so much already, words can not express. Just remember what I told you the last two days - you have the sense of humor to carry it out. I look forward to hearing about it and to receiving my personal sign. I'll always remember what you taught me and do my best to make you proud. Rest easy and well my friend - I'll see you on the flip side.

Dear Mr. Gianesini, Peter, Paul, and Julie,

Your wife/mom represented the best of neighborly kindness and generosity; she seemed to anticipate one's needs before even being asked. And always, she gave with a cheerful, bright smile and comfortable chat. Her silence will echo on Kimann Drive and probably throughout much of Terryville.

And yet, I suspect she will continue to watch over us all, somehow urging us to remember and honor her by carrying on her legacy of kind generosity and happy talk. Certainly, you, her family, already live that essence of her everyday. And that very fact is how you'll know she dwells within you forever.

We send our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mr Gianesini, Paul, Peter Jr. And Julie,
We will always remember your mom’s cheerful smile and exceptional kindness. She always kept an eye on our mom and dad and would always help out without even giving it a second thought: it was who she was. We had many conversations at the house or at the end of our driveway and she could tell us great stories that would always make us laugh. All she was lives on inside each of you and all the special times you shared together will be forever in your heart and part of who you are. In time, those memories will bring you comfort. Until then know you have many friends and neighbors who are here if there is anything we can do. Thinking of you all, with sympathy, Julia Schaefer and Brenda Vilela❤️

I was shocked and deeply saddened to read of Cheryl's passing. This a terrible loss to you all as a family and to the community of Terryville. I so enjoyed bumping into Cheryl both at Town Hall and around town. She talked me into working with absentee ballot counting for the town and I came to enjoy this function very much.
Please know my thoughts and especially my prayers are with you all.

Dear family of Cheryl,

Cheryl's enthusiasm, persistence, and unrelenting support of my husband and to the democratic process will never be forgotten. We knew her as the Energizer Bunny who worked tirelessly to support her family, friends and her ideals. Her kind words will be remembered by us forever.

Dear Pete, Peter, Paul, & Julie,

Your wife/mom will be remembered as a kind, cheerful, giving, vibrant, caring, beautiful person. She seemed tireless in her pursuit of helping others - at home, at work, and throughout the community. She will be missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in our hearts. One never forgets someone who gave one so much to remember. I hope the memories of the great times you shared will warm your hearts and help bring you a measure of comfort. She lives on in all of you. God may have her in his keeping, but you will forever have her in your hearts.

With deepest sympathy to you and your extended family,

Terri Schaefer & family

I, too, lost my mom to cancer. When I read this obituary and see all the love displayed by your family and friends, I felt moved to share my feelings, also. There is a Bible passage that comforts me greatly. Jesus promised he will resurrect our loved ones. John 5: 28 and 29. When earth becomes the place of peace Jesus talked about at Matthew 5:5, then we will live the promise of everlasting peace. Psalm 37:29. Please read these scriptures anytime you miss her deeply and feel at your wits end that she is not by your side. Then the God of all comfort will care for you. 2 Corinthians 1:3 4,5.

Pete and Family,

We are so saddened by Cheryl's passing. It's been a long time since she was a neighbor across the street but we saw her off and on over the years. She, as many have said here, was a very kind and caring person; probably to her own detriment at times. I will never forget her kindness when my Mother died. As a minister friend of ours said "The absent are nearer than you think" She is still walking with you...

Dear Peter and Family:

We are saddened to hear about Cheryl. It has been so many years since we moved away, but we will always remember the great family next door. We especially remember and treasure the care Cheryl gave to Chris as his "sitter".
She was the best. Treasure your memories. Our sincere sympathy.

Peter and family

Please except my condolences. I am at a loss for word to express how much Cheryl meant to me. During my times at church she always took her time to see how I was with my own battle with illness. I was so taken aback when I found out she was sick.
Cheryl you had a smile that never ended and will be missed. You always made everyone feel at home in your presence. You made me laugh and feel joy. Rest In Peace Cheryl and Peter know that you are loved.
