I was deeply saddened to learn of Steve's passing. He was a tremendous asset to all the staff at the Waterbury courthouse during his time with us.
Always helpful, cheerful to all, I will miss our talks of Scouting and what it meant to him to be an Eagle Scout. Please accept my condolences to the entire Iles family. We have lost a good and decent man.

My wife Valerie, my father in law Dick and I wish to express our heartfelt condolences to all of you in this profound time of sorrow. You should all be very proud of how you endeavored to assure Steve's final days were dignified and loving. Having known all of you for so many years it was difficult to watch what you had to go through while my father in law convalesced across the room. Steven and all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Richard and I were both shocked to hear. It's been to months since we had a chance to see his smiling face or have that morning chat as we left for work. Hearing him laugh and seeing him smile made being you next door neighbors fun. Please accept our condolences .....
