Grief is always lonely, always painful, and humbling. It was Helen Keller who said, "“What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” I'm sure you, Cindy, and your family have many moments of laughter and love to hold onto Joel. So he will never be far. So sorry for this time.

My sincerest sympathy and codolences go out the family of Joel Grenier. Joel was a good friend, and a dedicated fellow member of the Mattatuck Drum Band. I marched many parades with Joel, and he was always jovial, ready with a hand shake and a huge smile. May God rest his soul. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
