Agatha Agnes (Vodarski) Ryan, 96 of Terryville, widow of John J. Ryan died Monday November 16, 2015 at home, surrounded by her loving family and caregiver Olivia.

Agnes was born March 30, 1919  in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Frank & Catherine (Banas) Vodarski and has been a Terryville resident since 1939.  Prior to her retirement she was employed by the former Cooper Thermometer Co of Pequabuck and then Pa-Ted of Bristol.  She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Terryville. Agnes was a member of the Terryville-Plymouth Senior Citizens, a bingo enthusiast and avid Yankee fan.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert J. and Arlene Ryan of Terryville; her daughter and son-in-law, Judith A. and Ronald Budzenski of Santee, CA; her grandchildren, Laura Budzenski McCoy of St. Joseph MI & Jessica Budzenski Vail of Lamesa CA; her great grandchildren, Nicholas and Dominic Vail.

Funeral services will be held 9:30AM Thursday November 19, 2015 from the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville to the Immaculate Conception Church, Terryville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM.  Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Terryville.  Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from  5:00 to 7:00PM.

Judy and Ron: So sorry for your loss. We had my Mom and Dad living with us till they were 95. What a blessing to be there for them, we still miss them daily.

Robert & Arlene, I am her neighbor Debi Farley I just heard today of her passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I am going to miss seeing you and your Mom walking up & down the street by my house.
