Thomas G. Mills Jr., 65, of Terryville, husband of Irene (Grzelak) Mills, died Sunday in Canton. Tom was born August 29, 1942 in New Britain, son of the late Thomas G. and Elizabeth (Tutko) Mills Sr. and was a resident of Terryville for 36 years. He was employed by the Plymouth Board of Education as head custodian at Prospect St. School for 21 years. Tom was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Casimir Church Terryville, and loved bowling, fishing and the Boston Red Sox. Besides his wife of 36 years, he leaves; a son Jeremy Mills and his wife Jennifer Drake- Mills of Bristol; a daughter Jennifer Mills and her boyfriend Troy Vaughan of Bristol; 4 brothers, Richard Tutko and his wife Irene of Vernon, Andrew Tutko and his wife Jane of Kentucky, Harold Mills of Bristol, Ronald Mills and his wife Josephine of Trumbull; 4 sisters, Barbara Jiantonio and her husband James of Berlin, Patricia Mills of Plantsville, Sharon Sirois of Southington and Gloria Lessig of Meriden; his mother-in-law Helen Grzelak of New Britain and extended family, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Joann Kramer. Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:30A.M. from the Scott Funeral Home 169 Main St. Terryville to St. Casimir Church Terryville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00A.M. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5-8P.M.
