Katherine Dwyer Quayle, after 91 wonderful years, passed away on November 16 at the Nottingham in Jamesville, NY. She was born in Ansonia, Connecticut; her parents were Anna and Jim Dwyer. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Emil J. Quayle, Professor of Art at University of Cincinnati. Katherine lived in Cincinnati, Ohio before she and Emil moved to Syracuse 10 years ago to be near her family. Katherine was a retiree from Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Ohio. While living at the Nottingham she was President of the Resident's Forum, where she had many wonderful friends. She was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Suzy and Clint Tankersley, her grandson C. Jamie Tankersley, grandson and grand daughter-in-law Doug and Carrie Tankersley, and a loving cousin Jack Asmus. Services will be grave side at 11:00 Saturday at St. Mary's Cemetery in Terryville, CT, next to her loving husband.
