Joyce (LeBlond) Ray, 64, of Terryville, wife of Gilbert Ray died Wednesday (June 27, 2012) at her home.
Joyce was born April 10, 1948 in Caribou, Maine. She was the daughter of the late Alphie and Regina "RayRay" (Pelletier) LeBlond and has been a resident of Terryville for many years. Prior to her illness she was a cook for the former Colonial Restaurant of Thomaston and along with her son Michael had owned and operated the Crossing Track Cafe in NJ. Joyce loved to cook, garden, play bingo and especially loved her grandchildren. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church, Thomaston, a member of the Plymouth Fire Co. Ladies Aux and was an EMT in New Jersey.
Besides her husband she is survived by her son, Michael Theriault and his wife Erica of Thomaston; her daughters, Patricia Engle and her husband Robert of Terryville, Nicole Theriault of NJ; her brothers, Jimmy LeBlond of Terryville, Michael LeBlond of Terryville, Gary LeBlond of Thomaston; her sister, Patricia LeBlond of Michigan and her grandchildren, Ashley, Merissa, Brooke, Trent and Gabriella. She was predeceased by her brother, Kit LeBlond.
Funeral services will be held Friday (June 29, 2012), 10:30AM from the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville to St. Thomas Church, Thomaston for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM.
