Mary Louise (Pepin) Alexsavich, 62, of Terryville, wife of Bruce R. Alexsavich, died Thursday (Aug. 30, 2012) at the Bristol Hospital.

Mary Lou was born April, 15, 1950 in Waterbury, CT. She was the daughter of the late Leslie O. and Ann (Ryan) Pepin and was a direct descendent of Steven Hopkins of the Mayflower. Mary Lou has been a lifelong resident of Terryville and worked as a LPN for Bristol Hospital and area convalescent homes. She was a life member of the Immaculate Conception Church, Terryville and served on the church activities committee. She was a doll collector and maker, she loved to knit and crochet, she was also a great cook and animal lover.

Besides her husband she leaves, her aunts, Sara Ryan and Victoria Ryan; her special cousins, Robert and Arlene Ryan, Wesley and Sandy Clauss, Pat and Mickey Ryan, Roger and Patty Smith, Mark Clauss, DDS and Kelly Clauss, DDS; her special friends, Diane Gooding, Carl Carlson and her cat, Molly. She was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence Pepin.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday (Sep. 4, 2012) 10:45AM from the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville to the Immaculate Conception Church, Terryville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Terryville. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 9:00AM to 10:45AM.
