Kenneth Atwood Rondeau, 82, Bristol, beloved husband of Dorothy (Walsh) Rondeau for 58 years, died Sunday (April 7, 2013) at Sheriden Woods Health Care Center, Bristol.

Kenneth was born Aug. 13, 1930 in West Hartford, CT. He was the son of the late Albert and Eleanor (Atwood) Rondeau and had resided in Bristol most of his life. Ken graduated from Kingswood High school in 1947 and earned his BA from Nichols College. Prior to his retirement he was vice president and service manager for Chic Miller Chevrolet of Bristol. He was a communicant of St. Gregory the Great Church, Bristol. Ken spent his winters in Briney Breezes, FL.

He is survived by his sons, Rick Rondeau of Southington, Kenneth Rondeau II and his wife Carol of Bristol, Peter Rondeau and his wife Lana of Texas, Michael Rondeau of Alaska; his brother, Donald and his wife Janet Rondeau of CA; his sister, Judith and her husband Alan Snitkin of Old Lyme; his grandchildren Jon, Justin, Adrian, Aaron, Kaitlyn, Kenny, and Hailey; his great granddaughter Bailey he also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Albert Rondeau.

A memorial mass will be held Friday (April 12, 2013) 10:00AM at St. Gregory the Great Church, Bristol. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Terryville. There are no calling hours. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville is in charge of arrangements.

Sorry to hear of Kenny's passing . How can I ever forget my favorite babysitters and the big fire. Mom passed in 2003 and Dad in 2010. I live Maryland and Carole in Michigan. Thanks for the memories.
